Audio Anchor – Lock Down Your Sound
A few road-rashed Turtleboxes and awkward tie-downs later, we built the anchor point we always wished we had out on the ranch: a low-profile, heavy-duty board made from UV-stabilized food-grade HDPE—tough enough to take a beating, double as a makeshift cutting board, and ride anywhere your rig goes. Rated to 230°F, it won’t warp in the heat and shrugs off salt, sun, and rough handling.
Originally built to secure Turtlebox Gen I, II, and III speakers, it’s proven just as useful for game callers, binoculars, range bags, or any field gear you don’t want rattling around. Mount one on your ranch rig, boat deck, ATV, golf cart, or kayak—anywhere you’ve got 13.5” x 7” of flat surface and something worth strapping down.
Full Kit Includes
(1) 5/32" drill bit — required for fiberglass, marine screws, or metals over 1/8" thick
(4) #10 x 1-1/4" 410 stainless self-drilling TEK screws for inland setups (white board)
(4) #10 x 1-1/4" 410 black oxide stainless self-drilling TEK screws for inland setups (black board)
(4) #10 x 1-1/4" 316 marine-grade stainless steel screws — for boats and salty setups (requires predrilling)
Decals
Part of the MULE Provisions line — MULE means Miles Under Load & Element. The same field-first mindset behind the gear we design and use ourselves — built to remind us where we’d rather be… even when we’re not.
Field Notes
The Audio Anchor is a workhorse—not a beauty contest winner. Expect minor scuffs, nicks, or edge chatter from CNC handling. If you’re after something polished for the shelf, this ain’t it.
This board is tough, reliable, and overbuilt for most needs—but how you install, mount, and secure it (and your gear) is entirely up to you.
Note: While we are big fans of Turtlebox, we’re not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Turtlebox Audio. We just built a docking board that pairs up solid with their speakers.
