What We Recommend
The Audio Anchor is tough, reliable, and overbuilt for most needs — but how you install, mount, and secure it (and your gear) is entirely up to you. Instead of jacking up the price to include a one-size-fits-none pack of screws, we’re keeping it simple. No wasted hardware—just our field-tested recommendations so you can pick up exactly what you need. Here’s what we recommend:
(1) 5/32" drill bit — predrilling is always a good idea, but required for fiberglass, marine screws, or metals over 1/8" thick
(4) #10 x 1-1/4" 410 stainless self-drilling TEK screws — for inland setups (white board)
(4) #10 x 1-1/4" 410 black oxide stainless self-drilling TEK screws — for inland setups (black board)
(4) #10 x 1-1/4" 316 marine-grade stainless steel screws — for boats and salty setups (requires predrilling)
Availability
Audio Anchors are made in limited production runs to meet outfitter and dealer demand, but we always set a few aside for direct orders. If they’re in stock, we’ll ship them out quickly. If both dealer and direct purchases have cleaned us out, we’ll let you know so you can decide if you want to wait for the next batch, buy one through a retail shop, or get refunded.
Field Notes
MULE™ Tested and field-proven, the Audio Anchor is a workhorse — not a beauty contest winner. Expect minor scuffs, nicks, or edge chatter from CNC handling and shipping. If you’re after a bougie cutting board to put on Pinterest, this ain’t it.
Note: While we are big fans of Turtlebox, we’re not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Turtlebox Audio. We just built a docking board that pairs up solid with their speakers among other things.
For retail opportunities, please contact us through the website. It is the same easy process to get stickers into your shop.
